AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO INCREASE THE CORPUS OF THE NEXT GENERATION FUND.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the next generation fund in fiscal year 2008. Money from this appropriation shall be used to increase the corpus of the fund and shall not be used for programs. Money from this appropriation shall not revert to the general fund.
