AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF NORTHERN NEW MEXICO STATE SCHOOL TO REESTABLISH THE NATIONAL YOUTH SPORTS PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of northern New Mexico state school for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 to reestablish the national youth sports program, which serves youth ages ten to sixteen during the summer months with an academic and sports curriculum. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
