AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE LIBRARY DIVISION OF THE CULTURAL AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT FOR GRANTS-IN-AID.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three million two hundred sixty-four thousand two hundred dollars ($3,264,200) is appropriated from the general fund to the library division of the cultural affairs department for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 and subsequent fiscal years to provide grants-in-aid for local library services. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of a fiscal year shall not revert to the general fund.
