AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY FOR TRAVEL EXPENSES TO NATIONAL AND REGIONAL AGRICULTURAL SECONDARY EDUCATION EVENTS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 to pay for student travel expenses to national and regional agricultural secondary education events. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
