AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE ADVANCE PARTNERSHIP FOR DIVERSE FACULTY PROGRAM AT NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Six hundred thousand dollars ($600,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 for the advance partnership for diverse faculty programs with the university of New Mexico and New Mexico institute of mining and technology. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
