AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO WESTERN NEW MEXICO UNIVERSITY FOR A BASIC ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COURSE IN MEXICO.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of western New Mexico university for expenditure in fiscal years 2009 and 2010 to plan and implement an internationally accredited basic economic development course in the Republic of Mexico. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2010 shall revert to the general fund.
