AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR NATIVE AMERICAN YOUTH BEHAVIORAL SERVICES AND SUPPORT SERVICES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Six million dollars ($6,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the human services department for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 and subsequent fiscal years for behavioral health services and support services for Native American youth under the age of twenty-five who are not eligible for medicaid. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of a fiscal year shall not revert to the general fund.
