AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR BERNALILLO COUNTY TO CONTRACT FOR COMMEMORATIVE MURALS FOR THE ATRISCO LAND GRANT'S THREE HUNDREDTH ANNIVERSARY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 for Bernalillo county to contract with a muralist from the south valley to create commemorative murals for the Atrisco land grant's three hundredth anniversary. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
