AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY FOR THE COOPERATIVE EXTENSION SERVICE 4-H PROGRAM IN CHAVES AND EDDY COUNTIES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 to support the cooperative extension service 4-H youth development program in Chaves and Eddy counties. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
