HOUSE BILL 488

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 1, line 14, strike "; MAKING AN APPROPRIATION".

     2. On page 1, line 19, through page 2, line 13, strike Section 2 in its entirety.

     3. Renumber the succeeding subsections accordingly.

     4. On page 2, line 22, strike "replacement therapy" and insert in lieu thereof "medication assisted therapy".

     5. On page 3, lines 2 and 3, strike "narcotics replacement therapy program" and insert in lieu thereof "medication assisted therapy".

     6. On page 3, line 11, before “Section” insert “Subsection A, B, C or D of”.

     7. On page 3, line 12, after the comma, insert "which includes a written statement signed by the person waiving the time limits for commencement of trial pursuant to court rules,".

     8. On page 4, line 17, after "arrest,", insert "criminal complaint,".

     9. On page 4, line 21, after "order", insert "; provided that the order is consistent with federal law".

     10. On page 6, strike lines 11 through 17 in their entirety.

     11. Renumber the succeeding section accordingly.,

and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE.
