AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE MANUFACTURING ENGINEERING PROGRAM AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred eighty-five thousand dollars ($385,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 to fund operations and auxiliary faculty for the manufacturing engineering program. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
