AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR LONG-TERM DRUG AND ALCOHOL ABUSE REHABILITATION IN TAOS COUNTY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred forty thousand dollars ($140,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 to contract for long-term drug and alcohol abuse rehabilitation in Taos county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
