AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR TRANSITIONAL LIVING SERVICES FOR HOMELESS, ABUSED AND NEGLECTED YOUTH IN TAOS COUNTY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the children, youth and families department for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 for community-based organizations to provide transitional living services for homeless, abused and neglected youth in Taos county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
