AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO TO ENDOW THE PAMELA MINZNER ENDOWED CHAIR AT THE SCHOOL OF LAW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One million five hundred thousand dollars ($1,500,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 and subsequent fiscal years for the establishment of the Pamela Minzner endowed chair at the school of law. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of a fiscal year shall not revert to the general fund.
