AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A COURT SECURITY AND PROBATION OFFICER POSITION IN THE SAN MIGUEL COUNTY MAGISTRATE DISTRICT.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Forty-five thousand dollars ($45,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the administrative office of the courts for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 for a full-time court security and probation officer position with the San Miguel county magistrate court. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
