AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE CORRECTIONS DEPARTMENT FOR ITS COMMUNITY CUSTODY PROGRAM AT THE SECOND JUDICIAL DISTRICT DRUG COURT.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the corrections department for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 to fund treatment in the department's community custody program at the second judicial district drug court. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
