AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR TRANSPORTATION COSTS RELATED TO PROGRAMS AT THE AFRICAN AMERICAN PERFORMING ARTS CENTER ON THE NEW MEXICO STATE FAIR GROUNDS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the state fair commission for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 for transportation costs for transporting participants to programs or events at the African American performing arts center on the New Mexico state fair grounds. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
