AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE VITICULTURE PROGRAM AT NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Eighty-five thousand dollars ($85,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 for the New Mexico department of agriculture's viticulture program, including maintaining and expanding weather stations in vineyards, planting and maintaining an experimental vineyard at the main campus and providing research and educational outreach. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
