AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR MUSIC AND VISUAL AND PERFORMING ARTS EDUCATION PROGRAMS IN TRUCHAS, CORDOVA AND OJO SARCO.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 to contract with a nonprofit organization to provide after-school and summer-session music and visual and performing arts education programs in Truchas, Cordova and Ojo Sarco. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
