AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR MANPOWER DEVELOPMENT AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO TAOS BRANCH COMMUNITY COLLEGE.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for the Taos branch community college for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 to develop and implement a partnership with local schools and community groups for manpower development. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
