AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR VEGETATION MONITORING STUDIES TO ASSIST THE LIVESTOCK INDUSTRY BY THE COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURE AT NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 to assist the livestock industry with vegetation monitoring studies by the college of agriculture. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
