    1. On page 1, line 15, strike "CAMPAIGN".

    2. On page 1, line 16, after "OFFICES", insert "AND CERTAIN POLITICAL COMMITTEES".

    3. On page 21, between lines 11 and 12, insert the following new subsections:

         "C. A person or political committee shall not make a contribution or offer or agree to make a contribution, directly or indirectly, to another political committee that will cause that person's or political committee's aggregate amount of contributions to the political committee to exceed five thousand dollars ($5,000) during each primary election period and general election period.

         D. A political committee shall not accept or solicit a contribution, directly or indirectly, from a person or another political committee that will cause that person's or political committee's aggregate amount of contributions to the political committee to exceed five thousand dollars ($5,000) during each primary election period and general election period.

         E. The provisions of Subsections C and D of this section shall not apply to a qualified political party that is properly qualified pursuant to the provisions of the Election Code or to a national party committee that is registered with the federal election commission.".

    4. Reletter the succeeding subsection accordingly.

    5. On page 21, line 13, strike "and B" and insert in lieu thereof "through D".
