AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR ATHLETIC PROGRAMS AT NEW MEXICO HIGHLANDS UNIVERSITY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico highlands university for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 for athletic programs at the university. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
