AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE AFRICAN-AMERICAN STUDENT SERVICES AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 for the African-American student services programs and operations. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
