AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE LAS CRUCES MUSEUM OF NATURAL HISTORY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Four hundred sixty-six thousand two hundred eighty dollars ($466,280) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 for the relocation of the Las Cruces museum of natural history from the Mesilla Valley mall to a new location and for funding educational programs at the museum. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
