AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO CREATE A VIRTUAL FILM SCHOOL IN THE CREATIVE MEDIA INSTITUTE AT NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 to create a virtual film school in the creative media institute for the office of distance education at New Mexico state university. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
