AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE CHILDREN, YOUTH AND FAMILIES DEPARTMENT FOR A PHOTO GALLERY OF CHILDREN IN FOSTER CARE AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred sixty thousand dollars ($260,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the children, youth and families department for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 for the heart gallery programs and outreach for children in foster care who are available for adoption. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
