    Your FINANCE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 232, as amended

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. Strike Senate Education Committee Amendment 1.

    2. On page 1, line 14, strike the semicolon, strike line 15 in its entirety and strike line 16 up to the period.

    3. On page 5, line 1, strike "of the phase-in of elementary physical education".

    4. On page 5, strike lines 17 through 25 in their entirety and on page 6, strike lines 1 through 11 in their entirety and insert in lieu thereof:

         "E. The department shall annually determine the programs and the consequent number of students in elementary physical education that will receive state financial support in accordance with funding available in each school year."".
