AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A MANAGEMENT PLAN FOR THE NORTHERN RIO GRANDE NATIONAL HERITAGE AREA.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of northern New Mexico state school for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 to contract with a nonprofit organization for the development and implementation of a management plan for the northern Rio Grande national heritage area. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
