    Your EDUCATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 1226

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 2, lines 23 and 24, strike "immediately make the payment" and insert in lieu thereof "forward the amount in immediately available funds necessary to make the payment due on the bonds".

     2. On page 3, lines 8 and 9, strike "immediately make the payment to the paying agency of the total amount of" and insert in lieu thereof "forward in immediately available funds to the paying agent an amount equal to the total amount of the school district's".

     3. On page 3, line 15, strike "pay" and insert in lieu thereof "forward in immediately available funds an amount equal to".,

and thence referred to the TAXATION AND REVENUE COMMITTEE.
