AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE PUBLIC EDUCATION DEPARTMENT FOR AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAMS IN LOS LUNAS PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the public education department for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 for teacher training and materials for after-school programs in Los Lunas public school district. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
