AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR EXPANSION OF MENTAL HEALTH AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE TREATMENT SERVICES AND SUICIDE INTERVENTION IN TAOS AND COLFAX COUNTIES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the human services department for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 to expand mental health and substance abuse treatment services and suicide intervention in Taos and Colfax counties by an entity that serves both counties. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
