AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE INDIAN AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT TO FUND TRIBAL PROGRAMS BY INDIAN NATIONS, TRIBES AND PUEBLOS IN RIO ARRIBA COUNTY TO ADDRESS SUBSTANCE ABUSE PREVENTION AND INTERVENTION.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the Indian affairs department for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 to fund tribal programs by Indian nations, tribes and pueblos in Rio Arriba county to address substance abuse prevention and intervention. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
