AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO EASTERN NEW MEXICO UNIVERSITY FOR A DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FOR KINDERGARTEN THROUGH TWELFTH GRADE SCIENCE AND MATH TEACHERS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of eastern New Mexico university for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 to pay for a kindergarten through twelfth grade science and math teacher development program. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
