AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE GEOPHYSICAL RESEARCH CENTER AT NEW MEXICO INSTITUTE OF MINING AND TECHNOLOGY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Eight hundred thirty thousand dollars ($830,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico institute of mining and technology for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 and subsequent fiscal years for the geophysical research center. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of a fiscal year shall not revert to the general fund.
