AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF A NEW MISSION FOR THE TAOS HIGH SCHOOL.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the public education department for expenditure in fiscal years 2008 and 2009 to implement the newly defined mission for the Taos high school. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
