AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE EASTERN NEW MEXICO UNIVERSITY NETWORK FOR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROJECT IN THE COLLEGE OF EDUCATION AND TECHNOLOGY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred eighty-five thousand dollars ($185,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of eastern New Mexico university for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 for the college of education and technology to provide professional development for teachers through distance education. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
