AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR AN EXISTING AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM AT MORA INDEPENDENT SCHOOLS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Eighty-six thousand dollars ($86,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the public education department for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 for an existing after-school program at the Mora independent schools. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
