AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A THEATRE COMPANY IN RESIDENCE AT OF THE DEPARTMENT OF THEATRE AND DANCE AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred seventy-five thousand dollars ($175,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 for a theatre company in residence at the department of theatre and dance. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
