AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING FAIR AND THE SCIENCE OLYMPIAD AT NEW MEXICO INSTITUTE OF MINING AND TECHNOLOGY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico institute of mining and technology for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 to support the science and engineering fair and the science Olympiad. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
