AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE NEW MEXICO INSTITUTE OF MINING AND TECHNOLOGY FOR A DATABASE ON CONVICTED DRUG DEALERS AND METHAMPHETAMINE LABORATORIES.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Six hundred sixteen thousand dollars ($616,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the New Mexico institute of mining and technology for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 to pay for the materials research and testing center to develop a database on the location of convicted drug dealers and methamphetamine laboratories. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
