AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE SILVER HIGH OPPORTUNITY SCHOOL IN GRANT COUNTY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred ninety thousand dollars ($190,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the public education department for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 for Silver High Opportunity school for at-risk students in Grant county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
