AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A SERVICE LEARNING INTERNSHIP PROGRAM AT THE STATE HISTORIAN'S OFFICE.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the state commission of public records for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 for the office of the state historian's service learning student internship program. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
