AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR DIGITAL VIDEO DISK PLACEMENT IN PUBLIC SCHOOL LIBRARIES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the public education department for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 for acquisition and distribution of the digital video disk "Nuestras Acequias" to public school libraries. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
