AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR PREMIUMS FOR A STATEWIDE HEALTH INSURANCE PROGRAM FOR PERSONS IN SAN MIGUEL COUNTY WHOSE FAMILY OR HOUSEHOLD INCOME IS LESS THAN TWO HUNDRED PERCENT OF THE FEDERAL POVERTY LEVEL.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 for premiums for a statewide health insurance program for persons in San Miguel county whose family or household income is less than two hundred percent of the federal poverty level. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
