    Your JUDICIARY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 603, as amended

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 3, line 15, strike “contemplates leaving” and insert in lieu thereof “dissolves”.

     2. On page 3, line 19, strike “leaves” and insert in lieu thereof “dissolves”.

    3. On page 5, line 3, after the period insert:

     “Nothing in this section shall be construed as granting

jurisdiction in conflict with the Uniform Child-Custody Jurisdiction and Enforcement Act as adopted in New Mexico.”.

     4. On page 5, line 15, after “certificate” insert “of domestic partnership”.

     5. On page 6, line 5, after “certificate” insert “of domestic partnership”.

     6. On page 7, line 7, strike “declaration” and insert in lieu thereof “affidavit”.

     7. On page 7, line 7, strike the second occurrence of “form” and insert in lieu thereof “affidavit”.

     8. On page 7, line 9, strike “form” and insert in lieu thereof “affidavit”.
