AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT DIVISION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION FOR DISBURSEMENT TO THE MID-REGION COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS TO FACILITATE THE COMPLETION OF THE SOUTH VALLEY MULTIPURPOSE FAMILY SERVICES CENTER IN BERNALILLO COUNTY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Sixty-five thousand dollars ($65,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 for disbursement to the mid-region council of governments to contract for services to facilitate the completion of the south valley multipurpose family services center and facilitate communication and collaboration with all stakeholders, including neighborhood associations, merchant associations and faith-based community organizations. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
