Mr. Speaker:

    Your EDUCATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 325

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 1, line 17, strike "The following amounts are" and insert in lieu thereof "Two million dollars ($2,000,000) is".

     2. On page 1, line 24, strike "and".

     3. On page 2, line 2, after "college" strike the period and insert in lieu thereof a semicolon.

     4. On page 2, between lines 2 and 3, insert the following new paragraphs:

                "(4) four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) to the higher education department for San Juan college; and

                (5) four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) to the higher education department for Clovis community college.".,

and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE.
