AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A DAY PROGRAM FOR PERSONS WITH TRAUMATIC OR ACQUIRED BRAIN INJURY.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thirty thousand dollars ($130,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the aging and long-term services department for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 for day programs to assist persons with traumatic or acquired brain injury in learning social and life skills and to create and replicate effective service delivery models for such persons statewide. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
