AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A PILOT PROGRAM FOR VETERANS' PRIMARY CARE AND TREATMENT FOR POST-TRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDER.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 to establish and operate a project for veterans who need primary care and treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
